Modular Reference Model for the Informationbudget
The DFG-funded project Transform2Open has been addressing this question in a variety of participatory formats. The published “Modulare Referenzmodell für das Informationsbudget” describes the framework conditions and success factors for Informationbudgets; the model can be used both as a checklist to identify relevant cost elements and as a tool for initial cost recording. It enables research institutions to assess the state of development of their information budget and to develop it in a targeted manner.
